Our Vision

Why is RBC here?

"Rhiwbina Baptist Church is a community of faith proclaiming and demonstrating Christ in mission; committed to vibrant worship and fellowship and equipping believers for fruitful ministry and service."

We believe that we are called to be a significant church in the City of Cardiff, particularly in the Northern Suburbs, and especially in the village of Rhiwbina where the fellowship has its base.

Over the years the Lord has also spoken to the church giving a clear call to specific spheres of ministry:

• 1984: RBC is to be as 'a Beacon set on a hill' to be a light to the Valleys and beyond.' We therefore seek to work with, and support other churches in and North of Cardiff, who share our values. 
   
• 1996: RBC is also to be an Antioch church which accepts its responsibilities to train, send and support ministry beyond our immediate area: to the valleys, the Nation and the nations.  
   
• 2001: RBC is to be Minster church. A minster is a larger church in an area with the resources to develop, train and release people to lead churches.
