Gateway Church @ The Twyn, Caerphilly

Caerphilly1

Who are we?

We are a group of people from all walks of life who have discovered a personal relationship with Jesus, which has given us purpose, direction and hope.

We believe that God has called us to be a part of His extended family, a family established and sustained by the principle of Love. Hence, we place much emphasis on the importance of  sustaining close friendships with each other, knowing that these will help us with our Christian lives. We sincerely invite you to also be a part of our family.

Our relationships have developed over time, as we  have regularly met as a Caerphilly based Church Group within the larger context of Rhiwbina Baptist Church in Cardiff. As relationships and numbers have grown, we have felt drawn to lay down roots, in our home town of Caerphilly, where most of us live.

Our Vision

Our vision for our fellowship is to be "a display of God's splendour in Caerphilly".

We believe we will achieve this by:-
  • Being a people who are in close relationship to God, living by His Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit;
  • Demonstrating Christian love to one another and our local community in all manner of practical ways and reaching out to those in need.

We have a heart of inclusiveness, seeing ourselves as part of the wider Church in Caerphilly. We are eager to work with other churches in order to release the enormous potential of a United Church .
