Why do we give our money?

As Christians we acknowledge that all we have is from God. We recognise that He owes us nothing but He has given us all we have out of His generous love for us, including his greatest gift, His own Son.

We believe that, our financial giving and our time is part of our worshipful response to God. We acknowledge that our loving Father understands our needs and will provide for us.

We therefore seek to give willingly and cheerfully, as He has prospered us. Our financial giving enables the Church  to use the resources He has entrusted to us and invest them in spreading the gospel message, bringing relief to those in need and through these Ministries extending His Kingdom.

The money we give supports people and projects locally, nationally and overseas.

How to give

There are a number of ways you can give financially to the Church:
By standing order – please download a standing order mandate from below
Standing order form

By bank transfer – please pay into our account 1251 4055 Sort Code 53-70-30 using your name as a reference.

By cheque – All cheques should be made payable to "Rhiwbina Baptist Church". We assume your cheque is for the week's offering, unless you state otherwise on the back of the cheque.

By cash - please use one of our designated giving envelopes and put in the collection bag at our worship meetings.

Regular giving through GIFT AID, where appropriate, is the best way to give. Rhiwbina Baptist Church is a Registered Charity (no. 1132188) and recognised by the Inland Revenue to reclaim Income Tax on gifts made by UK taxpayers. This increases the value by 25% at no extra cost to the giver. Please complete the gift aid form on the back of this leaflet and pass it to the finance manager.

Legacies – often people are in a position where they wish to give a lump sum to the Church or a designated cause. Please consider setting aside a legacy to the Church when preparing your Will.
