In addition to the morning nursery, we also run a Lunch Club from 12 noon to 1.00pm. This facility is intended for children over 3 years old who attend state-funded Nursery in the afternoon. Advance booking is essential as there a limited number of places.

We are primarily an English speaking Nursery, however we do encourage simple Welsh language songs and cultural activities.

Every aspect of the Children’s play/learning falls inside The Foundation Phase. A range of activities suitable for pre-school children will be offered. There are seven main areas to encourage and develop each child’s learning process:

  1. Personal and social development, well-being and cultural diversity.
  2. Language, literacy and communication skills.
  3. Mathematical development.
  4. Physical development.
  5. Creative skills.
  6. Knowledge and understanding of the World.
  7. Welsh language development.

We follow a broad based curriculum. Each child is encouraged to participate in five or six activities each morning based on one of these areas of learning.
